Great Neck Community School has a warm, supportive and professional staff. The sense of "Family" fostered at Community School is evident in the make up of our staff. Many of our teachers’ first introduction to Community School was as a parent and one of our graduates is now on staff.
• The educational director and business administrator assure the smooth functioning of the program on a daily basis.
• Each classroom is under the direction of a certified head teacher and a qualified assistant teacher.
• The school has been chosen as a training center for student teachers from local colleges and universities.
• Support personnel include an unassigned teacher in each class, a musical specialist and a creative movement/dance instructor.
• Since 1946 the school has retained the services of a mental health consultant.
• All staff members are trained in CPR and First Aid.
