As a parent, we send our children off to pre-school with the desire that they are safe, nurtured and engaged to learn in a fun filled environment. GNCS is that special place, where children come first! My children enjoyed science exploration, everyday weather permitting outdoor play in an amazing playground/fantasy world, caring teachers with plenty of hugs, and an overall enriching experience. GNCS is a great place to start the education of a child’s mind and spirit.

The warm and bright environment of GNCS made it easy for me to send my son each week knowing he was spending time in a safe nurturing environment. As an educator myself, I understand the importance of learning through exploration; and with his caring teachers he is having fun, exploring new things, learning and growing. I couldn’t ask for better partners to contribute great lessons and memories to my son’s learning experiences.

My son had a tough time separating from me at the time of his enrollment. The teachers and staff at GNCS not only nurtured, supported and helped him through this very precarious time of his young life – but supported me as well. I adored the environment in which he now has grown to love more than anything in the world. The diversity at this school is also something that should never be overlooked. My son has learned so much about other people’s cultures, families and customs – and he’s only 3 years old. We really couldn’t ask for more.

There are not enough words to express how much I LOVE THIS SCHOOL. My son blossomed this year and I cannot thank all of the amazing staff enough for that! We LOVE this school and recommend it to everyone we speak to. Thank you GNCS for treating us like family. We will miss you next year in kindergarten.

I can’t say enough about this school. My daughter spent the best 3 years of her early education life here and was exposed to the most wonderful environment. The teachers have more than 30 years of experience, playful, nurturing, funny… All the best qualities teachers should have. My kids wake up every morning excited to go to school. It’s a treasure school and we are so lucky to be part of it, experience it. First kids experiences are very important, and this school definitely knows what it is doing. Everyone should send their kids there!

My son attended last semester, he was in the yellow room. He rushed to get dressed every morning to attend school. He came home everyday talking about his school lessons regarding dinosaurs, sea creatures, sharks, etc. My little boy has always been clingy and always wanted to stay home to play, not with Great Neck Community. He showed great enthusiasm for his art projects, teachers, music lessons, and educational programs. I am very happy with all that he learned. Great Neck Community showed him learning was fun. I recommend this school to all my friends.
